Creamed Potato Soup |
Ingredients
- 225g/8oz Mashed Potatoes
- 480ml/16fl.oz. Milk
- 240ml/8fl.oz. Double Cream
- Salt and Pepper
- 1 Allspice Berry, well crushed
- To serve
- Freshly chopped Parsley
- Butter
Instructions
1. Place all the ingredients apart from the parsley and butter in a large saucepan and whisk until very smooth.
2. Bring slowly to the boil, stirring constantly then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
3. Serve hot sprinkled with a little parsley and a small knob of butter in the centre.
