Creamed Potato Soup
Ingredients


  • 225g/8oz Mashed Potatoes
  • 480ml/16fl.oz. Milk
  • 240ml/8fl.oz. Double Cream
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1 Allspice Berry, well crushed
  • To serve
  • Freshly chopped Parsley
  • Butter


Instructions

1. Place all the ingredients apart from the parsley and butter in a large saucepan and whisk until very smooth. 
2. Bring slowly to the boil, stirring constantly then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. 
3. Serve hot sprinkled with a little parsley and a small knob of butter in the centre.
